My Dream-Family

I want to introduce you, Nina. She is pan-asian. Daddy's an American and her Mom is Japanese. Meaning, she's really cute. I love the way her cheeks is. Nice and glows. She is also lucky to acquire two languages; Japanese and English. My friend, Lokman introduced her to me. Credit to you.

Here's the latest video. It's really nice for a family to spend time together like this. And I wish my husband (in the future) and I will also have time to do this sort of things too. Simple activity, yet brings the family bonding closer.

But, my fave is this one. It really reminds me, my childhood days. Lol.

In class today, my lecturer shared her experience raising her children. She told us she had problems in communicating with her first son. And what she learned through her experience was, when we're with kids, we really have to do a lot non verbal to trigger verbal communication. Example, her son came back from school; crying. And the crying goes on and on till night. She asked kindly, but her son didn't say anything. She kinda lose her patience and kinda scold him (moms tend to be emotional at times). It was at night when she tried a different approach. She hugged him, and calmed his son down. Then, the boy told her what happened at school. So, I guess kids love when we hug them. They feel they can trust you. And also makes them feel safe, secure. Hence, it is easier for them to express anything.
